Wojahn Bros Music began in a rusted out surf van down under the Santa Monica Pier. Just the three bros, with a two string ukulele and their grandma’s old tv console, you know, the one with the built in tv tube, lattice speakers and phonograph player under a tilt up mahogany lid, oh yeah, that’s the one.
Anyway, between catching waves, bumming corn dogs on the pier, and snowy reception b&w episodes of Gilligan’s Island, the bros began crafting half baked riffs and cheesy dittys, inspired by the litter of the masses that they toiled to clean up on the beach. Jack in the Box wrappers, Lite beer cans, disposable razors…
Then one day, the Bros were singing for their supper, under a lovingly penned cardboard sign on Venice Beach, when they were discovered by a Jay Chait impersonator, late for his own gig to entertain an advertising intern’s 7-year old kid’s bouncy house birthday party, you know, the kind with the man-bun & craft beer-soaked beard combo, the intern, not the 7-year old.
Soon the bros were jamming with the hottest musicians in the smokiest recording studios, laying down phat rhythms and rhymes for the most bespoke agencies and clients in the L.A. Basin and nationwide too.
